Most folks are being extra careful during these trying times not to spread or pick up germs when out in public, shopping, working, visiting folks or getting food. Wearing a mask, avoiding touching your face, and washing your hands very well and frequently are all top strategies for lessening chances of catching that scary, deadly “novel” coronavirus.
Yet, what about improving your immune system? The media doesn’t even talk about it, at all. Shouldn’t you be just as careful, if not even more so, about feeding your body the right nutrients, vitamins and minerals that boost your immunity, while filtering out known neurotoxins and pesticides that cripple immune system function? It only sounds like common sense, but how difficult is it to put it to work for you all day, every day, maybe from here on out?
So much for the theory that vaping isn’t “that bad” for you. If it’s got nicotine in it, you’re heading down a long, dark health road. Researchers at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio found the nicotine “weakens the immune system by depressing antibodies and cells that are in the body to protect against foreign invaders.” Once someone quits nicotine use, their natural “killer cell” activity can target intruders, like cancer cells and coronavirus strains.
Nicotine users are more prone to infections like the flu, Covid-19, MRSA (hospital superbugs), and pneumonia. Plus, breathing in chemicals can cause respiratory disorders as the immune system literally attacks lung tissue and lung cells. Remember, Covid-19 attacks the respiratory tract, causing severe inflammation, like a bacterial infection.
You see, once the toxic smoke (or vapors) mixes with nicotine and damages those lung cells, the immune system signals for those damaged cells to be destroyed. Lung function is reduced even further and excess mucus in the lungs forms, leading to lung infection.
Cellular stress signals are sent out by the immune system when nicotine users fire up, and those signals tell the immune cells to attack the lung tissue. This research, which was published in 2009 in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, has been studied not only with mice, but also with humans who have COPD.
Researchers discovered that patients who have never smoked have no traces of the types of lung cells that trigger the immune system to attack its own host.
In another study published by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), researchers realized an “increased incidence of certain malignant diseases and respiratory infections due to a significant decrease in immune cells that would normally fend off these infections and invasions.
This can all be reversed though, once you quit smoking or vaping, and the levels of the body’s “natural killer cell” activity climbs back to needed levels for targeting cancer, bacteria, and even morphing viruses like Covid-19.
According to a massive Covid study in conducted in China, about 17 percent of all people who catch it are smokers. Bottom line: Smokers and vapers are at a higher risk of catching and dying from coronavirus. Maybe that’s because cigarettes contain bug killer and weed killer, and vape still usually contains nicotine, which restricts oxygen in the blood and causes inflammation. So just how do you break free from all of that?
When you just “gotta have” that next cigarette or some vape “hit,” think again, about a natural remedy that provides the same dopamine boost you’re getting from a drug, without any ill health effects. In fact, this supplement has a laundry list of health benefits, so you can swing that health pendulum back the other way, in your favor.
The first important health change you can make right now is to quit using nicotine. The key is to raise your dopamine levels naturally and safely, without drugs or artificial stimulation. There’s a superfood nootropic known as “nicotine’s kryptonite” that’s only been sold in capsule form supplements for years, and nary a smoker or vape enthusiast has heard of it. Yet.
Now you can find it in beverage form with vitamin B-12 too. Here’s how to unravel what you think is your necessary “nic fix” every time. A cutting-edge supplement beverage invention Krave Kicker combines this amazing herbal adaptogen mucuna with vitamin B-12 to balance the central nervous system.
Krave Kicker comes in a liquid 2.5 oz. “shot” and the key ingredients are backed by peer-reviewed science and clinical studies to help boost dopamine levels effectively and safely. This is a key first step to reclaiming your “biological seat” of immunity.
